BIMORE Researchers from University of Glasgow in collaboration with University of Bayreuth studied individual light harvesting complexes (LH2) from purple bacteria grown under low light conditions.Single-molecule spectroscopy reveals that LH2 complexes from Rhodopseudomonas palustris 2.1.6. have a heterogeneous polypeptide composition.

Rome researchers' night

2009 Researchers' night in Rome (Italy)

On 25.09.2009, BIMORE highlighted the international dimension of research in the "European corner" in the Rome Planetarium. Fellows Tatas Brotosudarmo, Linda Zotti, Petro Lutsyk, and Katya Obraztsova, together with the coordinator, explained the importance of the bio-inspired approach to resolve the urgent needs of society, and they explained how the EU supports mobility among young researchers.
